MINORS DIVISION

The Minors Division is a travel league intended for players aged 9-10 or in grades 3-4.

At this level, players build and refine their fundamental skills while beginning to understand game strategy and teamwork. Coaches emphasize the advancement of players’ baseball skills.  Players are taught to apply those skills and make their own decisions in live game situations.

Littleton participates in the Macintosh Baseball League. This is a travel league, and teams typically play 2 games per week (with 1 practice per week) in the Spring. For many players, this will offer their first experience participating in post-season tournament competition in the Spring season.

Some notable rules that go into effect in Minors include:

  • 100% player pitch
  • 3 strikes/4 balls
  • 3 outs per inning
  • Stealing bases after the ball has passed home plate

*Players who are League Age 8 who wish to be considered for selection in the Minors team draft should make this request to the Minors Division Coordinator.
